The Everglades
On the second day of our Miami/cruise/South Beach trip in February we headed West from Miami on 41 to Shark Valley, a northern entrance to the Everglades.
Immediately after parking we could see a lot of what the Everglades have to offer. In this photo you can see an alligator on the far bank, an egret in the tree and a heron on the closest bank - and the fish are jumping!
